She also saved us a lot of heartache from emotionally investing in properties that were being under-quoted by real estate agents (which therefore were way out of our price range) or by steering us away from houses that were simply bad purchases. We eventually bought off-market (again another reason to engage a buyers agent!) with Tabitha’s help and got a very good deal on the house we are moving into. I think good buyers agents basically ‘pay for themselves’ with the amount of money you save during negotiations/auctions, or the higher capital gains in the long run when you buy a better grade property.
